This is the debut EP by Susan's Boy.

Taking the logic of the cassette the first five tracks are Side A, Checkpoints proper, and the final four tracks, Side B, are a series of covers.

The EP takes its name from the function in computer games where a player can save their progress, a point to return to if they fail.

Opening with a violin serenade, the tape quickly dissolves into a synthetic love letter to pop music. Saviour complex, fleeting connections, anxiety and optimism are explored through campy vocals, thick vocoders and a digital soundscape.

The Same Page Suite is a celebration of the other acts who make up Same Page Records; Rob Shuttz, Rhosyn and Brand New Moon.

The whole thing is topped off with a cover of the song that introduced Susan's Boy to the wonkier side of pop: Overload by the Sugababes.

25% of profits will go to a local charity in Huddersfield called Talkthru in memory of a friend, Beth Smith, who sadly passed away last year and used their services after suffering a miscarriage.
